At AMTC we specialise in motorcycle touring and camping gear.

We're not just another camping store. We specialise in lightening your touring and camping gear.

Gone are the days of take what you can find in the cupboards and go touring.

All you end up doing is taking the wrong gear that takes up to much room and weighs a ton on your bike.
Our aim is to lighten your load, make it compact yet funcional and comfortable for the solo rider or the duo. This enables you to enjoy more of your touring experience weather it will be on Pacific Highway or on the dusty outback tracks.

Jeff and Alison formed Australian Motorcycle Touring Crew in March 2010.

After spending many years touring about on our 1983 BMW R100RT (I miss that old thing, even thou the bottom of the carbies kept comming off)and useing gear that was bulky or heavy ie: stuff that was used for car camping, large sleeping bags, big matts, 4 man tent??? normal kitchen pots etc.... we didnt take much it was just bulky, it was time for a change.

We started looking for new gear, we went from mc shop to mc shop, one after another and they all catered for the sports/weekend racer guys, nothing for the touring mob or very little. And definitely no camping gear.

Camping gear was for 4WD's and car camping and any lightweight camping gear was reserved for the ultra extreme wilderness hikers and so where the prices. But times change and so does the prices for ultra light weight gear.

So the years rolled by and 2 kids later, one day just decided to do our own thing and open up an online shop to cater for the touring bikers of Australia and as it turns out the world. We try and find gear that is light and easy to use and pack, tried and true gear that works and lasts the distance. More importanly! all located in one location.

So Australian Motorcycle Touring Crew was born.

We would like to be able to help out all touring bikers from the crew who ride 250's to the monster advernture bikes (thanks to Ewan And Charley)and everything in between.

Above all, enjoy your motorcycle experiences, it doesn't matter what you ride. And remember, we have the gear to take you there. And if we don't, let us know what you would like and we'll endevour to get it in for you.
